Dependent on the nose and aromas there arises nose-consciousness. The meeting of the three is contact. With contact as a requisite condition there is feeling. With feeling as a requisite condition there is craving. Dependent on the tongue and flavors there arises tongue-consciousness . The meeting of the three is contact.
